Analysis of the Impact of War on the Financial Condition of Enterprises: Approaches and Assessment Methodology

The relevance of this study stems from the need to analyse the impact of military operations on business, which is an important part of the Ukrainian economy. The purpose of this study is to analyse the impact of the full-scale war in Ukraine on the business situation in Ukraine and to identify the main challenges and opportunities. This paper analyses the situation of Ukrainian business during the Russian-Ukrainian war. It examines how business has adapted to the new situation, direct industrial losses, new business opportunities, state aid measures to support business, and strategic directions for overcoming the crisis and post-war economic recovery. The study showed that the negative impact of the war on Ukrainian business was significant: a decline in GDP, reduced investment, rising unemployment and the destruction of infrastructure.
