This study explores the impact of international legal obligations on improving Ukraine’s national legislation. The research aims to analyze how international agreements influence domestic legal reforms and identify key challenges and opportunities in this process. A comparative legal analysis and case studies of specific legislative changes in Ukraine were used as the primary methods. The findings indicate that adherence to international obligations significantly contributes to the modernization of national laws while highlighting the need for institutional reform and capacity-building. These results are vital for aligning Ukraine’s legal framework with global standards and promoting effective governance.
