Abstract

The research is aimed at identifying and analyzing the impact of role stereotypes on interpersonal communication, as well as assessing their impact on gender inequality with the development of recommendations for overcoming them. The work uses the methods of content analysis to study academic sources, case analysis to study real situations of communication, and qualitative interviews in order to obtain practical data on the influence of stereotypes on interaction. The study showed that gender stereotypes significantly affect perception and behavior in communication, creating barriers to equal dialogue. In particular, they reduce the effectiveness of communication, promote discrimination in the professional sphere and consolidate unequal roles in social interaction. It was found that overcoming these barriers requires both individual and systemic changes in approaches to communication.
