The conference materials examine minors' criminal liability in Ukraine, focusing on their behaviour's legal and psychological aspects. The study aims to analyze the application of coercive educational measures instead of criminal punishment and assess the compliance of Ukrainian legislation with international standards, seeking ways to improve the existing legal framework. The research employs an analytical approach, examining Ukraine’s juvenile justice system compared to global practices. The results reveal the need to reduce reliance on imprisonment and enhance the use of alternative educational measures. The significance of the findings lies in the need for legislative reforms to align Ukraine’s juvenile justice system with international standards.
