Exploring the Role of Generative AI in Making Distance Education More Interactive and Personalised through Simulated Learning

Distance education is facing a massive problem because it is neither personal nor interactive. Students often feel isolated and unengaged. This paper examines how Generative AI can address this issue. Generative AI is used to create simulated learning environments. These simulations help each student adapt to a unique learning path. This paper proposes a mathematical model for personalisation, which includes figures and tables to support the concept. Findings suggest that generative AI can significantly increase engagement and personalisation in distance learning contexts, but there are challenges as well.
