Integration of Media Education into the Professional Training of Future Foreign Language Teachers in German Higher Education Institutions

The study focuses on three different subjects: media education, language teacher education, and education systems in Germany that are being improved through the integration of IT. The aim of the study is to understand the ways of integrating media studies into pedagogy teaching in the country, as well as to analyze the legal framework and the level of media use by students to acquire digital competencies. The approaches used include analysis, surveys, and expert evaluation. This highlights a problem that requires revision not only of the curriculum but also of all aspects of foreign language teacher education. The results of the study are important in terms of exploring the possibilities of improving the teaching of German in institutions that meet modern requirements, in particular, education in Germany.
