Abstract

This study examines how university students in the United Arab Emirates perceive climate change. Based on a survey of 212 participants aged 18–24 in Ras Al Khaimah, findings reveal a strong urgency for climate action, with nearly 59% advocating for immediate measures. The multicultural backgrounds of respondents show diverse influences on environmental attitudes. Over 76% rely on social media for climate information, highlighting its role in shaping awareness. While not representative of the entire UAE population, the study offers valuable insights into the views of future leaders and changemakers.
