European Green Deal is the European Union's strategic plan to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. It aims to transform the EU into a modern, resource-efficient, and competitive economy, ensuring no net greenhouse gas emissions, economic growth decoupled from resource use, and inclusivity so that no person or place is left behind. Key initiatives include investing in environmentally friendly technologies, supporting industry innovation, and promoting cleaner, cheaper, and healthier forms of private and public transport. By implementing these measures, the EU seeks to lead the global fight against climate change and protect the natural environment for future generations. (https://commission.europa.eu/, 2025a). The present research paper is an initial study to identify the main objectives of the European Green Deal strategy and their aspects on the creation of a sustainable economy.
