The article examines how foreign language classes can develop critical thinking skills in non-language major students. This is crucial as modern careers demand professionals skilled in both foreign languages and critical analysis to make informed decisions and represent their countries globally. Today's workforce requires a blend of technical expertise (hard skills) and interpersonal abilities (soft skills) for an interdisciplinary skill set. Mastering these competencies is vital for tasks like filling application forms, excelling in interviews, managing teams, writing reports, negotiating contracts, and handling professional duties domestically and internationally.
