Innovative Approaches to the Integration of Humanitarian Disciplines in the Medical Education of Ukraine

The study explores innovative approaches to integrating humanitarian disciplines into medical education in Ukraine. The research aims to enhance medical students’ professional competencies by incorporating humanities-based knowledge and critical thinking skills. A mixed-method approach was used, including surveys of medical educators and students, as well as an analysis of curriculum reforms. The findings highlight the positive impact of interdisciplinary education on ethical decision-making, communication, and patient-centered care. The results emphasize the need for a balanced curriculum that fosters both medical expertise and humanistic values.
