This study analyzes the current state of social welfare policies for ethnic minorities in Vietnam, identifies implementation challenges, and proposes solutions to enhance effectiveness. Over the years, social welfare policies have played a crucial role in improving the lives of ethnic minorities, helping to reduce poverty, enhance healthcare and education, and support livelihoods. However, regional disparities, cultural barriers, and administrative limitations still prevent many communities from fully accessing these support policies. The research methodology includes literature review, statistical data analysis, and policy comparisons across regions. The findings indicate that while these policies have contributed to improving well-being, significant challenges remain, including inadequate infrastructure, limited access to healthcare and education, and inconsistencies in policy enforcement. The study proposes comprehensive solutions to promote more sustainable and equitable welfare, including infrastructure improvements, enhanced policy implementation, and strengthened education and vocational training for ethnic minorities. Strengthening coordination between local authorities, social organizations, and communities will help improve the effectiveness of social welfare programs, ensuring sustainable and equitable development in the future.
