Social Policies in Vietnam Since the Doi Moi Reform: Achievements, Challenges, and Future Directions

Since 1986, Vietnam's social policies have undergone significant transformations, reflecting the shift from a centrally planned economy to a socialist-oriented market economy. This paper analyzes the development of social policies in key sectors such as social security, healthcare, education, and labor. By synthesizing and evaluating existing research, the study identifies achievements, existing challenges, and proposes solutions to enhance the effectiveness of social policies in the future, aiming for sustainable and equitable development.
